The Metabo BS 18 LTX BL I 18V Brushless Cordless Drill Driver is German engineered and manufactured to provide extreme power, safety, and extended runtime for the most demanding industrial applications. Metabo’s 2nd generation Brushless Motor technology runs cooler and maximizes the energy transfer from the battery to the spindle, creating highest efficiency for longer motor life, maximum continuous power, and extended run time. The tool features a 2-speed reversible transmission and variable speed trigger. Its slim design with rubber coated grip provides comfort and control during extended use. The integrated Anti-Kickback feature with gyroscopic sensors for maximum user safety works in all directions to instantly stop the tool if an accessory should bind, sounding an audible alarm. The tool features Precision Stop electronic controls that offer 10 different speed/torque settings for precise control in a wide range of applications, as well as drill mode for continuous power. Included with the electronics is an Overload Protection feature, as well as a selectable impulse mode for easy removal of damaged screws and spot-drilling on smooth surfaces. The 2 multi-function LED lights provide bright illumination of the work area and flash red when the gyroscopic sensors are triggered. The package includes all-steel keyless chuck, bit holders, side handle, and cardboard box (bare tool only – batteries and chargers sold separately).

Every Metabo battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life. Proprietary ULTRA-M technology allows the tool, battery, and charger to communicate with each other for optimized performance. Single Cell Protection in conjunction with Overload Protection prevents over-charge/over-discharge to the individual battery cells and extends service life of both the tool and battery pack by preventing damage from overheating. A fully charged battery pack will deliver 100 percent of its power in temperatures ranging from 5 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The battery contains integrated impact and skid resistant rubber to stand up to the toughest jobsite conditions, as well as a 4-LED capacity indicator to display the remaining charge. The patented Air-Cooled battery charging system charges up to 30 percent faster for less downtime.
