This 18V SDS-Max 1-9/16 in. Rotary Hammer is powerful enough to provide corded-type performance for tackling heavy-duty concrete drilling or chiseling jobs. The Bosch GBH18V-36C Rotary Hammer delivers 5.2 ft-lbs. of impact energy (EPTA), which is unprecedented for a single 18V battery-driven SDS-max 1-9/16 in. rotary hammer. It weighs 13.4 lbs. (with the included battery). This hammer is part of the PROFACTOR System, which pairs BITURBO Brushless Technology with a CORE18V High Power Battery. BITURBO Brushless Technology is a high-performance motor and drivetrain system designed to deliver power comparable to high-demand corded tools. The anti-vibration system features a longer air cushion in the hammer tube and dampeners in the handle. The hammer has KickBack Control, rotary hammer and hammer-only modes, a reverse setting, and Vario-Lock to rotate and lock the chisel. The hammer features an on-tool user interface for tool performance, feedback, and control. This hammer features connectivity (module sold separately), providing a link to the free Bosch Toolbox App on a connected device to customize settings. The kit includes 2 CORE18V 8 Ah High Power Batteries, each delivering 50 percent more runtime and over 75 percent more power than the CORE18V 4 Ah battery, powering high-demand applications. The kit has a GAL18V-160C Battery Rurbo Charger, which provides a 16 Amp charging current for fast and faster charging, with an optional Power Boost mode.
